Plant division







The leaf of a plant serves two basic functions; photosynthesis, and cellular respiration. Photosynthesis is the chemical reaction in which plants transform solar energy into food or glucose. Cellular respiration is a chemical reaction in which chemical energy (glucose) is converted into usable energy for the plant.




 


The stem provide a few important functions for the plant; provides support for the plant, provides transportation between roots and leaves, act as a site for food storage.





The root of the plant serves three important functions; anchor the plant, absorb water and minerals form the soil, and also act as a site for food storage.






The Flower contain the female and male part of the plants. Pollination is a essential function of the flower to sexually reproduce.Successful pollination of the flower result in the production of fruits and seeds.
